Sumpah Pemuda - 17 tahun "Indonesia" dijajah

Dulu ketika SD dan SMP, guru sejarah sering memberikan pertanyaan: Berapa lama Indonesia dijajah? Ketika diberi pertanyaan itu, maka cepat-cepat kita mengacungkan jari kita dan menjawab: "350 tahun, Bu"....

Ternyata, setelah hal ini dikaji, ternyata 350 tahun ini hanyalah sebuah bahasa mulutnya Bung Karno untuk membangkitkan semangat bersatu bangsa Indonesia ketika itu. Buya Syafi'i Ma'arif mengatakan, Indonesia itu dijajah cuma selama 17 tahun. Karena pada saat VOC datang pada tahun 1605, yang ada hanyalah negara kerajaan: Majapahit, Demak, Samudra Pasai, Kutai, dan lain-lain. Itupun waktu penguasaannya berbeda-beda. Istilah Indonesia baru muncul pada saat sumpah pemuda tanggal 28 Oktober 1928. Dengan kata lain, Indonesia dijajah hanya dari tanggal 28 Oktober 1928 sampai dengan 17 Agustus 1945. Atau lebih jelasnya, memang 17 tahun seperti yang dikatakan oleh Buya Syafi'i itu.

Mungkin untuk sekalian memperingati sumpah pemuda, berikut akan saya kutipkan kembali naskah sumpah pemuda:

Kami putra dan putri Indonesia, mengaku berbangsa satu, bangsa Indonesia
Kami putra dan putri Indonesia, mengaku bertumpah darah satu, tanah air Indonesia.
Kami putra dan putri Indonesia, menjunjung tinggi bahasa persatuan, bahasa Indonesia

Kalo menurut saya bukan 17 tapi bukan juga 350 tahun, karena sebelum itu KI Hajar Dewantoro Sudah menggunakan kata "Indonesia".

Find JIRA issues mentioned in Confluence Page

I have been walking through a lot of pages in internet but have not found any answer except one. However, the answer is not complete, so I will share my experience here.
