Pembelajaran dengan metode debat

Metode ini awalnya saya dapatkan di mata kuliah Speaking IV di UNY. Lalu kemudian ternyata metode ini tiba-tiba muncul di TV-one di acara "debat".

Dalam speaking, metode ini merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam meng-encourage mahasiswa untuk mau berbicara dengan cara memberikan motion (mosi) tentang satu permasalahan tertentu, kemudian membagi kelas menjadi dua kelompok. Satu kelompok menentang mosi dan satu kelompok mendukung mosi.

Dalam kuliah manajemen teknologi informasi siang ini, metode ini saya gunakan. Mosi yang ditetapkan adalah: "bahwa e-Government harus bisa diterapkan di setiap kabupaten di Indonesia". Kemudian kelas dibagi menjadi kelompok pro dan kelompok kontra.

Ternyata, dengan metode ini, para mahasiswa sangat antusias. Bahkan suasana kelas menjadi agak sedikit panas, namun tetap meriah dan gayeng. Dengan metode ini, saya lihat beberapa anak yang pada perkuliahan-perkuliahan sebelumnya tidak berani ngomong, ternyata mau ngomong. Dengan metode ini, beberapa hal yang menarik kemudian muncul terkait kenyataan tentang mosi yang ditetapkan (penerapan e-Gov di kabupaten di Indonesia).

Metode ini mungkin bisa diterapkan pada kuliah-kuliah lain yang sifatnya adalah analisis dan bukan teknis. Untuk kalkulus atau logika matematika jelas metode ini tidak bisa diterapkan. Akan tetapi dalam kuliah e-Government, e-Commerce, Pengantar Teknologi Informasi, dan lain-lain, mungkin mata kuliah ini akan membuat kelas menjadi lebih hidup dan menyenangkan serta menantang bagi mahasiswa.

Saatnya berkreasi dalam mengajar. Saatnya mencari format-format baru yang lebih menyenangkan dalam belajar.

Kalkulus??? Aljabar Linier??? Gimana donk metodenya???
Mudah-mudahan.. metode belajar yang selama 10 tahun ini saya pakai untuk ngajar 2 mata kuliah itu gak membosankan ya??? Tau gak metode yang saya pakai? Senyum dan selalu dengan senyum saya mengajar... satu lagi.. mengajarkan tentang filosofi bagaimana dan mengapa rumus itu yang dipake... hee..he...

Find JIRA issues mentioned in Confluence Page

I have been walking through a lot of pages in internet but have not found any answer except one. However, the answer is not complete, so I will share my experience here. This feature is very useful, especially to summarize the issues found during certain tests, where the tests are reported in a confluence page. I found that there are so many questions about this, but Atlassian seems does not want to bother with this request.
